Kuala Gandah and Bukit Tinggi, Pahang

Posted by Susan Ong at Tuesday, April 12, 2011
In the starting of school holiday in March, we went to Elephant Sanctuary in Kuala Gandah and Colmar Tropicale and Japanese Tea House in Bukit Tinggi.

We were a bit late to Elephant Sanctuary as the time we reached there about 4pm, the elephants performance already finished and the centre would close at 5pm. However, we were able to see those elephants in their rest places. Those are some photos i had taken.

Cute cute elephant!

The next day, i went to Bukit Tinggi for the Colmar Tropicale and Japanese Tea House.

In the Bukit Tinggi Japanese Tea Garden, there were a lot of people gather at the road side with their very advance DSLR. I asked what they were waiting, one funny uncle told me:"a flying elephant...". They were actually waiting to shoot one kind of bird which has very special feather or wings. Anyway, Good luck!

there are a Bukit Tinggi chinese village along the way back to Kuala Lumpur. The food there taste good!(May be we were all too hungry that time) In a very short time, we finished all the dishes we ordered. Yummy!
